Custom Session Note Creation: With Self-Service Session Notes, user administrators can now effortlessly create and manage custom session notes, tailoring their experience to suit their needs,  preferences and requirements.

It is Important to know...

To allow session creation, Users will need a new permission named: Self Service Template Permission.
We recommend possibly assigning this to one administrator user.

When creating new notes, plan ahead of the finished note to avoid rearranging fields. 

To prevent running out of characters space, always check to see if existing fields can be reused. Meaning, does that field already exist, then no need to create a new one for a new note. Example: If your ABA daily note has a field as "Other people present? (Text field)" and you are creating a new Speech note that needs "Other people present?" as text, then it can be reused. 

Be patient, for a new note to complete its creation process, it will need to run to activate at the top of the hour. If you save your new note at 4:35, the note will complete processing at 5:00. 

To edit a session page layout (moving or rearranging fields) you will need to email our support with all the details. Session Note name, field names and new order details. 

Quick Tips: 

  • Keep Rich text fields to 32,000 characters or less and visible with 25 lines.
  • Keep Long Text fields to 10,000 characters, 3 visible lines. 
  • Picklist values are set to one value per line.
  • All checkbox fields will always print regardless of selection, checked or not checked.
