Session Amendments
Session Amendments will allow specific users to make corrections to signed-off Sessions.
The Amend Sessions permission set must be assigned to users that need the ability to perform this action.
To amend a Session press the Amend button as the top of the signed Session. Make the appropriate changes on the next screen and save. It is IMPORTANT to note that the Session Amend feature does NOT perform the automatic calculations for Billable Minutes, Units, Duration, etc. Therefore, if you need to make a change to something that affects these fields, they need to be manually updated. For example, if you update the Time Out on a Session, it will not recalculate the Billable Minutes, Procedure Units and Duration. You will need to update all of these fields manually.
Also note that amending a Session does not update the Superbill or re-send any of the billing information to the billing system. If you wish for the Superbill to match, you will need to edit the superbill and make the updates. Also, you should inform your biller if you made any changes that may affect billing.
