Allowable procedures determine which procedure(s) may be selected in an authorization or session for the given student/contract. This is a good way to ensure that only valid procedures are used for the authorization, session and resulting billing message. This will only be restricted in sessions where the corresponding appointment has an authorization. If the funding source does not have any allowable procedures, then all procedures may be selected.
