February 2022 Release

Allowed Hours Per Week Setting

A new feature has been added that allows you to limit the number of hours per week that staff members are able to be scheduled. If appointments are being scheduled beyond the specified hours per week, it will not let any more appointments be created for that week, unless an administrator overrides it.

3 new fields have been added to accommodate this:

  • Allowed Hours Per Week – This field can be found on the Staff Member page and allows you to enter the number of hour per week that a staff member is restricted to on the schedule.
  • Override Allowed Hours Per Week – This is a checkbox found on the Staff Member section. Administrators can temporarily check this checkbox to allow for the staff member to schedule more than the Allowed Hours Per Week.
  • Exclude from Hour Restriction – This is a checkbox on the Appointment Type. This allows you to exclude specific appointment types from the Hours Per Week Calculation. For example, if you do not want to include Staff Meetings in the hours per week restriction.

If you do not wish to use this feature, then leave the Allowed Hours Per Week field blank.

Summary of Progress on Session Goals

An enhancement has been made to the new Session Goals feature that was released to you in January. There is a new icon next to each Session Goal that will allow you to update the Summary of Progress field on the Treatment Goal. This way you can update the Summary of Progress right from the Session as opposed to having to go back to the Treatment Plan. The Summary of Progress field will print on the printed Treatment Plan for each goal.

Setting – Disable Editing of Recurring Appointments

In our July 2021 Release, we launched the ability to edit recurring appointments. Some customers have requested the ability to disable that feature. In this release, we have added that ability through a new setting that can be found under Settings > Practice Admin > Allow Editing of Recurring Appointments. Uncheck this setting to disable the feature.

Secondary Code now works in Lightning Session page

With the sunsetting of T codes in ABA, the Secondary Code functionality was not included when Total Therapy transitioned to the new lighting Session layout.   Recently, we were made aware of situations in other disciplines where this feature is still useful. Therefore, this functionality has been added.

Therapist Supervision % Report – Updates

In January we launched the new Supervision tracking mechanism, along with some reports for tracking supervision percentages. We received feedback from our customers and have made enhancements to the Therapist Supervision % Report.

Default Location checkbox on Student Location

A new checkbox has been added to the Student Location named “Default Location”. This allows you to specify the default location for the student and will be used during future integrations with the Rethink clinical tool.

Session Goal Formatting on Session

The Session Goal screen has been reformatted to make the options more readable when long goal names are created.
