November 2024 Release Note
Default Modifiers on Staff Credentials
This feature automatically adds a staff member's modifier to a session based on their credentials, such as BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT.
You can configure this setup for specific funding sources, ensuring everything aligns with your needs.
Setup and Configuration
Step 1:
- From your tabs (+) find Credential Categories
- Below Credential Categories you’ll find Credential Types, click on one or create a new one.
- Under your credential type, go to Default Modifiers and add new modifier code. You’ll need a start date and end date if you want to set and expiration date to that modifier code. Don't forget to save.
- From this same page, create Funding Source Requirements.
Step 2:
- Enable Funding Source setting
- Apply Staff Member Default Modifiers, this setting must be checked to allow default modifiers.
Step 3:
- Assign this credential to Staff Members
- Go to Staff Members, find staff name and scroll down to Credentials and make the assignment.
Key Points About Default Modifiers
- When It Applies:
Default modifiers only work with Authorizations using the classic countdown method. - How It Works
The modifier is automatically based on the Assigned Therapist for the session. - Priority Rules
If other default modifiers are set up in your system, staff modifiers will always take priority once this setup is complete.

What Does This Setting Do?
After saving a session, users will be automatically directed to the Session Approval page.
If you're creating a session from the calendar, you'll be taken back to the Session Approval page right after saving.
To enable this setting navigate to the left pane under custom links.
Settings > Sessions > Return to Therapist Approval on Save
New setting “Bulk Sign-Off Without Warning"
Setting name: Enable/Disable Bulk Sign-Off Without Warning
When using bulk sign-off, sessions with warnings will show a status of "Couldn't Sign Off."
Common warnings include:
- Payroll Warning: "No time block will be created" (if your settings require a time block at session sign-off).
- Duplicate Session Warning: "Multiple therapy appointments exist for the same student, location."
How it works: Enable Ignoring Bulk Sign-Off Warnings
If enabled (checked), all warnings will be bypassed, and sign-off will proceed.
To Enable/Disable Bulk Sign-Off Without Warnings, navigate to your Practice Admin settings.
