This allows your practice to associate a student to one more locations. This may be helpful for reporting purposes. Your practice may elect to limit the location on a student appointment to the selected

student locations. This restriction only applies if this setting is enabled in your site and if the student has one or more student locations entered.

If your practice is using record level security, then access the student’s record and all related records for that student (e.g. appointments, sessions, authorizations, treatment plans, etc.) may also be controlled by comparing the student locations to the staff member locations. If the staff member and the student share one more locations, then the staff member will have access to the student’s record and all related records. This level of record level security must be enabled by your practice.
